Here's my fabric board. The fabrics are my main link to Westwood so i have chosen checkered wools mainly. I am going to make my jumpsuit with the blue houndstooth (second from the left). I have chosen a plain flecked blue wool for the hooded tailored jacket.

Making my jumpsuit
I've been slaving away over the sewing machine for the past couple of days trying to get my garments done. I've basically got the shell of the garments now, i just need to finish them (lining etc.)
I've decided to bind the seams in my jumpsuit to achieve the couture quality
here's a couple of photos i took along the way:

Garment fit tutorial
Today was my garment fit tutorial. It went surprisingly well; i dont have much to change at all so i can get on and start making my final garments after these few changes:
- Make the bottom of the legs longer so they scrunch up more
- Make the fly zip longer
- Curve the waistband of the jumpsuit more
I've pretty much done most of the changes already.
I just need to do a lining pattern for my jacket and re-do the fly zip pattern.

Final toile (before garment fit tutorial)
After making the changes to the hood facing, i've got to the final toile stage (well thats before the million changes i'll have to make after my garment fit tutorial on friday). Sorry i've only taken photos of it on the mannequin. I'll take photos of it on me at a later date.
With hood down...
And with hood up...
I'm not too sure about the lining now as it looks a bit messy where it's sort of loose. My other option is to just bind the edges and seams. I might make a couple of samples to see which looks best.

Hood issues
So i made all the changes from my last toile, and lined the hood which you can see below. Problem is, the facing is too small because i just extended the line on the pattern rather than traced it from the other side, if that makes any sense. Anyway, the facing is too small so sits horribly, meaning i've got to change the pattern yet again!
